"Pink Car and a Sunrise" is a special photo for me—it was chosen as the official poster for the Queer Palm at the Cannes Film Festival 2023. I captured it on a road trip across Iceland, and the experience felt like living out a road movie. Driven by something deeply emotional, I found myself blissfully lost in Iceland’s vast snowy landscapes. There, in the middle of nowhere, stood this pink car, perfectly framed by the rising sun behind it. It was a scene straight from a movie, and seeing it celebrated at Cannes has been incredible.
