"Pink Lady"

"Pink Lady" is a photo I captured unexpectedly in Norway. I hadn’t planned to photograph horses, having done so hundreds of times in Iceland, but I couldn’t resist stopping—there was something striking about her. She had a presence that felt almost human, graceful and elegant, more like a lady than a horse. I spoke with her owner, who confirmed that she was indeed a female, known for her elegance. I took several photos, but this one quickly became my favorite.

Norwegian horses are quite different from Icelandic ones, each with their own charm, and it’s hard to choose a favorite—I love them all. Animals have so much to teach us, and being close to them is always humbling. I hope you enjoy Pink Lady as much as I do.
